Natalia Gutman is a Copenhagen-based art historian and independent curator whose work draws on her experiences living and working in South Africa and the United States.
Her curatorial projects often unfold at the intersection of historical venues and conceptual ideas, with a particular focus on the dynamics between site and art. Her curatorial projects and exhibitions have been realized through collaborations with art institutions and museums such as The Museum of Contemporary Art, Ny Carlsbergfondet, The Hirschsprung Collection as well as independent projects at Børsen and The Thott Palace.

Alongside her curatorial practice Gutman is a lecturer at DIS, where she currently teaches courses on curating, following earlier teaching in art history. She has been an educator at Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK) and a mediator at Iziko South African National Gallery in Cape Town. From 2022 to 2024, she served as a committee member of PLATFORM at Nikolaj Kunsthal, supporting emerging artists and curators. She has beed invited to speak at conferences in Denmark and internationally. As both author and editor, she has contributed to and published a range of articles, exhibition catalogues, and books.
